Blue flag with golden emblem in the middle. The emblem consists of an
anchor surrounded with a wreath and topped with a crescent and star, below
is a ribbon bearing inscription. (The image is missing the inscription on the ribbon.)
In the Corr. 4 to the Album 2000 the drawing is lightly updated: the emblem is made bigger and the wreath of (palm?) leaves is green(ish). I suspect that therefore the image in the original 2000 edition is simply an error due to lack of more precise data, and not that a new design was introduced since.

The Qatar Emiri Air Force (QEAF) is the air arm of the Qatar Armed Forces. They began building their Air Force in 1974 with help from the French after gaining their independence from the United Kingdom in 1971. The QEAF is headquartered at Al-Udeid Air Base. The air base also is home to the forward commands of the United States Air Force, the Royal Air Force, and other foreign allied forces.

The Qatari Amiri Guard also spelled as the Emiri Guard is an elite military
protection unit of the Qatari Armed Forces. Their barracks are located in
downtown Doha. The unit's primary responsibilities include ensuring the security
of the Emir of Qatar and the House of Al Thani. Members of the unit stand guard
at the Emir's residence in the capital of Doha and escort the head of state to
different events. The unit provides public duties on behalf of the entire
military. It provides guards of honor during military ceremonies (e.g. military
parades, state visits, and funeral honors). It uses British style honor guard
rituals when providing a general salute or conducting any commands in general.
Members of the guard are annual participants in the Qatari National Day Parade.
